Inform yourself properly! Don’t be a victim of fakenews!
Today’s “fake news” may seem more real than ever with the emergence of so-called “deepfakes”: alterations of photos or videos in which the person appearing is not really the person they are said to be. These images, photos and videos are based on a complex artificial intelligence system that acquires and overlays thousands of photos of people’s faces to produce a distorted image. In this course we will discover together how to recognise fake news and tools for correct information. The course is aimed at anyone who wants to combat misinformation and its propagation.
The first chapter includes a brief description of misinformation and manipulation through the dissemination of fake news and truncated truths, as well as advice for parents in dealing with this topic.
Chapter II outlines the dangers of misinformation and a Decalogue for recognising fake news.
Chapter III is devoted to methods of correct information.
Who is it for?
